Corrections, source suggestions, privacy requests, press inquiries.

Corrections (highest priority)

If you spotted a factual error, ambiguity, or missing primary source, write to corrections@thetoothlabs.com. Please include:

  • The full URL of the affected page.
  • The specific sentence or claim you are flagging.
  • The source you believe is more accurate (peer-reviewed paper, institutional guideline, primary-source URL).

We publish dated corrections at the top of affected articles. We do not silently edit live articles to fix errors.

Source and topic suggestions

If you maintain a peer-reviewed paper, dataset, government resource, or professional-society guideline you think we should cite, write to editors@thetoothlabs.com. We review suggestions on a rolling basis.

We do not accept paid placements, sponsored content, or commercial product placements in editorial articles. Please do not pitch supplements or devices for favorable coverage.

Privacy and GDPR requests

To access, correct, or delete personal data (newsletter subscription, etc.), write to privacy@thetoothlabs.com. We respond within 30 days, usually within a week. See privacy notes for the full list of rights.

Press

For press inquiries, write to press@thetoothlabs.com. We are a small independent editorial project and may not be able to reply to every inquiry, but we read everything.

What we cannot do by email

  • Diagnose your symptoms. Even a description that sounds clear-cut needs a dentist's examination.
  • Recommend a specific treatment, product, or supplement for your case.
  • Refer you to a specific dentist or periodontist. Use your usual dental practice or local directory.
  • Provide individual dental or medical opinions, even cursory ones.

If you write with a personal dental question, we will redirect you to your dentist or to mouthhealthy.org / your country's equivalent patient resource.
